About the Founder

Hi, my name is Ayana Rashed I’m 23 years of age and I’m going to give you a little insight of what I love to do. First off, let me start by saying I’m a style writer, a sports enthusiast, student of hip-hop and lover of street fashion.

I would most definitely like to say that I’m grateful I chose the path I did and I’m looking forward to all the great things that are sure to come as I bring all my passions to the forefront. I’ve always loved writing and talking about the game of basketball/football as well as talking style. I was blessed enough to start my journey of journalism at 19 writing for DJ Funk Flex on InFlexWeTrust.com as a sneaker/style writer. I moved on from Flex and started ghost-writing for Jennifer Len at Hot 97 on Hot97.com/sports and now I currently write for one of the biggest and historic hip-hop magazines ever created aka The Source Magazine. I’ve wrote some electrifying articles and I’ve been blessed with having the many opportunities to interview some of my favorite artist, fashion designers and athletes.

I studied Mass Communications at Virginia State University and Broadcast Journalism at the University Of North Carolina At Charlotte. I am now finishing up with school at the Borough of Manhattan Community College to earn my associate degree in communication studies.

I am a huge believer in working hard to establish my own brand to elevate from, which was one of the brightest ideas I’ve come up with and it has worked in my favor for years now. I have created my own online magazine where I talk about some of my favorite things as well as creating an instagram for my online magazine. You can check out some of my interviews and write-ups from here and also get info on some of the latest style, sports news & more. I encourage everyone to do what they love to do, you will be VERY happy with the outcome……….. Peace love.. #LibraNation
