An incredibly disturbing report has surfaced in light of the news about the altercation that allegedly took place last weekend between Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
According to WFAA in Dallas, Texas, Crowley told police that the Brownsquarterback said, “Shut up or I’ll kill us both,” early Saturday morning after the two got into an argument at the Zaza Hotel. A police report released this afternoon also revealed that Crowley told police Manziel hit her several times during the argument, dragged her by her hair, and forced her to get into a car with him before driving to her home. At that point, the two reportedlyCONTINUED to argue before Manziel left the home on foot prior to police showing up on the scene. Crowley reportedly cooperated with the police as they questioned her about what had taken place, but she refused to allow them to photograph the injuries she allegedly suffered and became uncooperative as the questioning continued. She did, however, reportedly tell them that she was concerned about Manziel’s welfare—she suggested he may have been under the influence of drugs during their altercation—and police searched the area for him and contacted his family before eventually locating him.
TMZ Sports caught up with Manziel this afternoon shortly after the police report was released, and he told them, “It didn’t happen,” when asked about the allegations of abuse. He also denied saying that he would hurt himself during the altercation with Crowley.
“I’mCOMPLETELY stable,” he told TMZ Sports. “I’m safe and secure…I have great things coming ahead…I know I’ve been having fun, but I just need to get my body right. I’m 100 percent committedTO PLAYING football.”
