In this life, there are many routes to take – Dream Chasers’ own Tafia and PRE chief Young Dolph chose the “Paper Route.” Both natural born hustlers with endless street stories to tell, Tafia and Dolph put on a lyrical showcase as they salute the trenches they rose from and chronicle the path they took to chase and achieve their dreams. Released earlier this year as part of Tafia’s Mention My Name album, “Paper Route” has become a breakthrough hit. Tafia’s out-the-mud origin story combined with Dolph’s commanding verse created a radio-ready fan-favorite: the song generated over 15 million streams to date across platforms and placed at #35 on Mediabase’s Urban Radio chart and #43 on Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.

“Much respect to Dolph and his family. He kept it solid with me so it’s only right I showed my respects the right way in this video.” – Tafia

The video finds Miami native Tafia riding through the streets of his hometown with a stack of newspapers to distribute, before the visual flips to a montage of Tafia flexing with his crew and scenes of characters in his city. Intercut with archival clips of Dolph, Tafia levels up from a two-speed bike to a souped-up foreign. Halfway through, the video transforms into computer animation, animating the late PRE CEO as he delivers his verse with Tafia right by his side. Tafia’s captivating rasp paired with the hustle-hard mentality of both himself and Dolph makes the track an undeniable, hard-hitting banger.
